Hilton Head Resort

Cammy and Garrett each own a condo in Hilton Head Resort on Hilton Head Island. Garrett bought his in March of last year, and Cammy closed on hers a couple of days before we got there. Garrett lives on Hilton Head Island permanently, but Cammy's will hopefully become a vacation rental. Garrett started a business on Hilton Head Island called Transformation Remodeling. Most of his business so far has been to remodel condos in this resort. They were built in the 70's and most need a little touch up. Garrett has been working hard on his condo too, and will start on Cammy's soon.

Our first look at Cammy's fully-furnished condo.

Garrett's new kitchen tile.

He is doing a cool tile feature in his door frames.

The view off of Cammy's patio. A couple of lagoons and then the ocean in the background.

Another view off of her patio. This looks out over a world famous golf course hole right on the ocean.

There are four buildings in the resort. Each one is square with a courtyard in the middle. Building 1 has an outdoor pool and a sandwich deli in it. Building 2 (Cammy and Garrett's building) has a park, sun deck, raquetball courts, and a badmitton court in it. Building 3 has an enclosed courtyard with an indoor pool, hot tub, wading pool, card room, waterfall, and fitness center. Building 4 has tennis courts. There is also one more outdoor pool, barbeque area, several fountains and lagoons.

Having breakfast out on Cammy's patio.

The park and sun deck. We had many beautiful days in South Carolina. We had a couple of days in the mid-70s, a few in the low 70s and most in the upper 60s.

Indoor pool, hot tub, and wading pool.

Mom and Dad at Sticky Fingers. Sticky Fingers is a rib restaurant that we went to try. Once we had looked over the menu and decided which plate of ribs to have, the waitress came over and informed us that they were out of ribs!!! We were bummed but ordered chicken wings, pulled pork, etc. When our food finally came out an hour later there was some pork, but no wings. Apparently they ran out of wings and instead of letting us know so we could order something else they replaced them with potato skins. While the potato skins were very tasty, we missed out on what we really wanted. They gave us a $25 gift card to come back again, so we did!!!
The second time around was well worth it!! We went early, so they wouldn't run out of ribs again, and feasted on some of the best ribs I have ever had!!!

Tristan always wants to hugga Wade.

Grouting Garrett's kitchen tile.

It looks like you had a fabulous time! It must have been so fun to be with your family again...and what a neat place. Lucky for you to have siblings in a resort town!!
