4th of July Weekend!

This is how we roll!

Friday we spent the morning at the beach, our favorite place!

Friday was the 1st Friday of the month which means that Chelan has activities downtown.  One of the things we did was go to this petting zoo!  Owen loved feeding this chicken!

And the bunnies!

This is the house that Jason has been helping to frame.

Saturday we spent 8.5 hours on the lake!  Woohoo!  It was hot and sunny and perfect for lounging in the lake!

Teana was with us and practiced her awesome boat driving skills.

Wade and Owen both came out on the dragon with me.

Grandpa and Grandma met up with us partway through the day.  We went out for dinner and posed in this great climbing tree.

Little koala bear!

Big koala bear!

Monday we went to Silverwood theme park for the day.  There were very few lines and we had a great time!

This was by far the favorite ride of the day!

This was my favorite kid ride of the day!  :)

I can't believe this is my baby!  He's so big in the airplane by himself.  I can't believe he didn't climb out of there, but he was just all grins and LOVED it!  He went over and over again, waving and grinning!  Grandpa and Grandma were so kind to watch the boys so Jason and I could go on the roller coasters!  It's been awhile since we've been to a theme park, so we had a lot of fun getting our brain scrambled!

Jason teasing dad about his outfit.  :)
We stayed for the fireworks which ended at 10:15, but it took us 2 hours to get to the freeway which is about 15 mins away...between fighting the crowds to the parking lot, fighting the cars to get out of the parking lot, and battling a major traffic jam getting on the freeway.  We got home at 3:30 this morning!  It was a short night!  Visine has been my friend today!  :)

yipes, 3:30am is insane. But silverwood with no lines must have been great. Love the Koala bears and the big boy in the airplane ride. and Jason should definitely wear more ice blue and yellow flowers, it really suits him.
