Watching some of our old daycare friends perform in the Missoula Children's Theater "The Little Mermaid".
Handsome boys ready for meeting

Tristan's shark
Jason and Sue bought a house and want to replace the sheet rock, so we got to tear it apart! It took awhile to convince the boys that it really was ok to smash the hammer into the wall, but once they got going....oh boy! Tristan, especially, worked all day beating up their house! They had a lot of fun! And so did I! It was very satisfying to destroy a house! :) As long as they don't do it at home!
We got a tour of a "fruit run" today. We got to tour the warehouse where they were sorting, cleaning, waxing, stickering, boxing, bagging, etc. It was amazing!!! Since moving to apple country I have had my own ideas on this process, but I was totally amazed at the detail and efficiency of the process!! This picture is the fans that are drying the apples after having been washed, waxed, and buffed!
Getting the stickers on, which can track an apple to the orchard that it was grown!
This machine was incredible! A machine takes 30 pictures of each apple as it is zipping by to determine the size, color, and quality of each apple. Then, the little cup it is sitting in knows exactly which little hole to drop the apple in, so it can be bagged with apples of the same size and color! There were big ones (50 to a box) down to little ones (216 to a box) and even special tiny ones that are bagged in Lightning McQueen bags and marketed as "kid-sized" apples! Within 3 seconds the apple has its picture taken and is distributed to the appropriate bin. I was amazed!!!
Now for some videos......
The boys playing basketball...without a ball. I love how they knew how to line up for free throws, and how they air dribble, and how Owen copies his big brothers even in falling to the ground!
Grandpa Sanderson and Grandpa Lepak (Kissyface)
He learned how to drive!!
Trying to throw a grape into his mouth just like Daddy.
Wade always informs me that Kole wants to be a cheerleader when he grows up. This video makes me think that Wade is right there with him!!

Interesting on the apple operation! I think of you when I pick up my Costco apples that have your town written on the package! :-)
