New News?

Well, I just had my appointment, and I am no further along than I was a week ago. The Dr. will induce me Monday morning unless of course I have it sooner. Looks like my Feb. baby may turn into a March baby! Dad got in early, early this morning, and Jason's family will be coming in tonight, so we have a lot of people waiting for this little guy or gal! Here are a couple pics to take your mind off of the waiting. :)

Tristan eating his scrambled eggs for breakfast this morning.

We went down to one of the apple warehouses here in town and picked out a big bag of apples. You get to pick out whatever variety you would like and it only costs $2. They claim to be 10 lb bags, but I'm sure that you can fit close to 20 lbs of apples in them.

The Due Date Comes.....The Due Date Goes....

Well, the 26th has been here and gone, and I'm still as big as a house. I have an appointment tomorrow, and if I haven't had the baby by then, the doctor will schedule me to be induced. I will let you know what I find out! If he has me go in right away, there is a good chance that the baby will come on Friday....the 29th of February.....Leap Day.....you might be right, Jessica!! Also, I do apologize for that last post. Amy was right though, when you are sitting around waiting, you need something to do....and misery loves company!!! :) Think happy baby thoughts today!!

Brielle Christine Precht

Congratulations to Kevin and Julianne Precht on the birth of their little girl, Brielle. She was just born about 2 hours ago at 5:33 am. She is 20 inches long and 7 lbs 9 oz. I don't have a picture yet, but I will get one to put up here soon!!

You may remember that there were 4 of us all due to have our babies within 2 days of each other. Well, Jessica had hers last Friday, Julianne had hers this morning, and I heard that Erika was being induced yesterday, so I'm assuming that she had hers, but I haven't heard for sure yet. That leaves me. Still sitting here, very pregnant, anxiously waiting....

Crazy Driver

Please don't be alarmed he was well supervised.

Valentine's Day

For Valentine's Day this year, Jason made me dinner. It was amazing!!! He steamed crab, and because I didn't have a pot big enough for the crabs, he was very creative!! He also made prawns and garlic mashed potatoes.

What a masterpiece!

Jhett Lewis

Congratulations Kevin and Jessica on the birth of their precious baby boy!!! Jessica whipped through labor and delivery and had a 6 lb 5 oz, 19.5 inch long boy at 5:34 pm yesterday. In the little baby race that I'm running in, Jessica just crossed the finish line ahead of me!! Good job! I just hope that I'm next!!! Anxiously waiting!!

More

Tristan recently learned the sign for "more". His sign vocabulary is expanding. In this video, Tristan just ate half of a chocolate covered cupcake as a Valentine's Day treat. How do you resist his little hands wanting some more??? I actually managed to turn him down and gave him more apple slices instead. Trust me, it was tough!

Saturday Happenings

Josh Barnes invited Jason and Eric to go snowmobiling with him and Monty and Colin. We drove out to Waterville early. Trese helped Tristan on the snowmobile.

It was fun just sitting on the snowmobile.

Tristan didn't enjoy riding on it, though.

There they go... We have had a few warm days in a row, so the snow was very wet and heavy. They ended up having a hard time snowmobiling, because the machines kept on sinking down and getting stuck in the slush.

Meanwhile, Trese, Tristan, and I fed Pam's horses and then headed back to Chelan for Julianne's baby shower!

Tristan kept on giving Elle big hugs. It was very cute.

This is a video of Tristan dancing. Whenever he hears music, he just lights up and starts moving. You may recognize this dancing frog from previous posts. :)

Flooring

There have been a lot of changes in the spec house since I last posted any pictures. This was the project this past week. Flooring! This brick lay is in the master bath.

The red oak hardwood in the kitchen/great room.

Hard to tell with the glare from the door, but this tile is greenish.

The tile is done except for some grouting, a shower, and some wall tiles. The trim package came on Saturday with all of the doors, so that is the project for this week.

Winter Fun

This is Julianne who is due the same day as me!!!

Every year, Chelan has a Fire and Ice Festival. It consists of ice sculpturing, snow sculpturing, sledding, a polar bear dip, fireworks, a huge bonfire, parade, chili feed, etc...
Some of the ice sculpturing was very beautiful. This is an eagle.

The stroller is useless this time of year. There are no sidewalks, the roads are narrow, due to the piles of snow, and icy. So, once in awhile we take the sled and walk downtown. Tristan seems to enjoy it fine.

Woah...until he almost gets dumped out of the sled!
