My Lil' Pumpkin

On Saturday, we carved a pumpkin. Tristan of course wanted to try a little piece. He gnawed on it for awhile and then wrinkled up his face and threw the pumpkin on the ground. I guess he only likes pumpkin in a pie!

Tristan and his pumpkin.

Go to Jason and Sue's and Barry and Alyssa's blog to see some high-quality pumpkin carving

If you have been keeping an eye on my blog since last year, you might remember that Tristan dressed up like a pumpkin last year for Halloween! He is a much cuter pumpkin now!! I don't know if I can paint my tummy this year....it wouldn't be a pumpkin, but maybe a gourd.

Cammy's Half-Marathon

Now I get a chance to brag about my sister! She ran her first 1/2 marathon on Saturday and came in 1st place in her age group!! Check it out! We are so impressed, Cammy! Click on her link for pictures!

Autumn Leaves

Tristan and I went to the park today and played in the leaves.

He dug a hole....

Examined the dirt...

And obviously ate some!

Then, he picked out what car he would like.

Hi, Mom!

Farmer Tristan

Tristan borrowed Cody's John Deere for a little ride.

Riding this tractor is a lot of work!

Tristan and I got to go visit Jason and Shawn in the wheat fields where they are building roads for a new development.

The trench that Jason was working on at the time.

Can you count all 7 teeth!!

New Baby update: 22 weeks now and the baby is moving quite a bit. Feeling great!

Walking Soon?

Hey, Kid, come back with that stroller. Tristan likes taking the stroller for a walk at the park.

With boots like these we can't figure out why he's not walking already! :)

20 Weeks!!

Packer Fans

We got to watch the Packers lose Sunday night. But, not to worry, our team spirit has not diminished.

Lil' Favre with his new favorite toy....a measuring tape.

Tristan got his first balloon! It was lots of fun!

What do you get when you combine a shortbread cookie, a sippy cup of water, and a 9 month old boy?

Yikes!

Tristan has been 9 months for a week now, and I've spent that long trying to get a good 9 month picture out of him! He's crazy!! He's going constantly and everytime I get out the camera, he starts towards me and tackles me. It's nuts! I couldn't get a good smile, usually just the wide open "I'm up to something" look. If you noticed in the most recent pics of Tristan that I posted (see "Wedding" post) he was sleeping in every picture! Yes, those are the only pictures I have been getting lately. Anyway, for the sake of my mother and sister who are very demanding when it comes to Tristan pictures, enjoy!

Check out the curls

We walked to McDonald's playland while a rock chip was being repaired on our car so that my little hunter could stretch his legs.

He can climb stairs very well!

Jaspar Lepak

I haven't shared a lot with you about my newest sister-in-law, Jaspar. This is mostly because I don't know a lot about her myself, as I have only met her at the wedding! She is a musician. She sings as she plays the guitar. There are many venues around the Minneapolis/St. Paul area in which she performs. Also, she hosts a variety show every month. Last week she had an interview on a local radio station. If you click on this link, you will enter her myspace page and the interview will automatically start. Also, you can listen to a few of her songs. If you are interested in ordering a CD, you can access her homepage by clicking this link.

Wedding

Jason Barnes and Sue Buckingham were married this weekend in a beautiful outdoor Montana wedding.

It was cold and windy, but nothing could keep the smile off of their faces.

We got to be with lots of neat people, like Caleb...

Baby Leah....

DeAnne the emergency seamstress...

Karol, who can tack a dress with the best of them...

Auntie Jay, the mother of the bride...

Competitive brothers playing football

Not to spoil it for dunking Jason, but the hoop was only 9.5'

Johnny and Tristan share some bonding time.

Snuggles with Auntie Julie

Long lost 2nd cousins...Sandy Pfeifer and Audrey Neitzer

Sorry there weren't many pics of the wedding. I actually missed the whole thing. The wind caused the musicians to have a music crisis, so I held music for the first part of the wedding, and then the table centerpieces turned bellyup by the wind, so I set off to turn vases right side up and catch napkins and candy bowls that took flight. When I turned around after the salvage, I was just in time to see the bride and groom kiss!

New Blogs

Randy and Amy Anderson and Shawn and DeAnne Sanderson have new blogs!!! Check them out! They're great!
