Another Owen Video and more updates

Our family had our 2 seconds of fame when we were on national news this past week!!  Apparently there is a show called 48 hours, and last week they did a show called "Secrets of the River".  About 4 min 20 sec in you can see our family and some of our friends!! Check it out!  Go to cbs.com and link to 48 hours and then to Secrets of the River!  Crazy!

We had our first snowfall Sunday night, so yesterday we had fun playing in the snow all day!  It is mostly gone now.

Tristan and Olivia were mixing up their snow cones and singing a song about making soup that we always sang at storytime.  Olivia said, "Remember when we used to sing that song at storytime?"  Tristan replied, "Yeah, but we can't go to storytime ever again, because we're in school."  Olivia answered, "Yes, but we can always remember it!"  I was so touched by their remembering about when they were "little", and also so grateful to our wonderful librarian, Gloria, who made such lasting memories on our children.  We are so lucky to have her as our librarian!
We traveled to Seattle for a training that I had.  We treated the boys to dessert and airplane viewing at the airport.  It was pretty fun!

Owen picked a "bownee" with no "i heem"

Our new dining room table!  Thanks to a local furniture store that is going out of business, we got a great deal!

Sunday night it started snowing.  Snack was a fresh snow cone!

One quick trip out on the deck before bed!

By the morning there was plenty of snow to play in and lots of playmates!  I was so glad that we had the day off for Veteran's Day so we could really enjoy it!

The sledding hill along side our house is just perfect!!!  Not to long and steep, but fast enough to keep it fun! Even Owen has no problem dragging his sled up, getting on, and then sliding down!

Baders

The head for his snowman.

Wasn't long before this guy melted away.

Loved Finn's new snowsuit!

I have some great memories of playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with my siblings.  We each played one of the 4 turtles and Dad was Shredder of course.  Mom rotated between Rock Steady and Bebop.  We were reminiscing about that and the boys thought that they should probably play it too!!  So we had Raphael, Michelangelo, and Leonardo all attacking Shredder.  It was great.  I was Rock Steady in the kitchen washing dishes, just like I remember it!!!  :)
