Getting Bigger

Soon he'll be throwing that football. He takes a pacifier every once in awhile. I know that experts say that it is too early for it, but he doesn't see to have any confusion. He loves to suck, and it gives me a break when he can suck on his pacifier!

I took this picture just a minute ago as I was creating this post. He just looks so sweet lying here!

We were visiting Jason's family and Teana wanted to dress as my twin on Sunday. Here we are!

Grandpa Sanderson is helping Tristan read the sports page. Too bad it's all about the Seahawks loss on Sunday.

Tristan seemed to like the music that was playing as he looked at the animals hanging above his head. When he is awake he seems very alert. He is always looking all around and taking everything in.

Finally, new pictures!

Tristan is getting bigger. He is still sooo cute. I can't imagine having to leave him next Monday when I start back at work. It brings tears to my eyes everytime I think about it!

We went to Sequim this weekend and stopped by lots of the relatives on the way to show Tristan off. They had lots of snow the whole way. On Saturday we went up to Hurricane Ridge and played in the snow. This is my handsome husband! :)

More cute Tristan pictures. I have a really cute video of him just looking around and making cute facial expressions. If I can figure out how to put it on this blog, I will.

Most of his facial features are like Jason, but his facial expressions are definitely like mine!

We took Tristan sledding down one little hill. It was pretty cold, but we just had to get a picture of his first time sledding. :)

New Outfits

Tristan got some great new outfits that he is going to show off for you. Neale, Cammy, and Garrett found this Favre onesie. It's a little big now, but it will fit perfectly next season when Brett Favre wins his 4th MVP.

My cute Deputy Sheriff outfit from Connie!

Lots of Sheriffs are too big for their britches...well, my britches are a little too big for me! Check out the cool boots, though!

Uncle Garrett found this warm outfit. Now I wear it everytime I go outside!

Go, Pack, Go!

A Surprise Ending

Ok, I couldn't get this picture to be posted at the end, so my surprise ending will be my surprise beginning. Tristan takes full advantage of his diaperlessness. Something about that cool air just makes him let go!
We started by taking a few pictures of my little snuggle bunny.

Then, we decided to get creative and take a few with Tristan naked.

What a cutie!!
Tristan likes to gnaw on his hand.

The shirt says it all!

My first shower! I actually liked it and didn't cry at all! Mommy was surprised, because everytime she would bathe me I would scream.

6 Days Old

All decked out in South Carolina gear from Auntie Cammy. The Gamecocks must be losing!

Going on a walk all bundled up.

At my appointment yesterday I weighed in at a whopping 5 lbs 7 oz. The Doc says I should gain that weight back by next week.

Showing off my cute outfit!

Even the smallest infant booties are twice my size and make me look like Bigfoot.

Our Precious Little Boy!

Heading into the Lake Chelan Community Hospital for our first induction trial on Tuesday....After 13 hours of contractions, they decided it wasn't working and sent me home. They told me to come back on Thursday and they would try again.

Maybe Not...

Well, I went into the hospital at 9:00 yesterday morning. They ended up not starting me on plutosin until 1:00, because they had to have an operating room open for me just in case, and there were a couple of surgeries that were ahead of me. I was having some mild contractions at the time, and once the medication started, the contractions picked up pretty quickly. By 5:00 I was having pretty steady contractions and they were starting to be a little painful. However, my uterus wasn't completely relaxing in between each contraction, so they decided to shut off the medication to give the baby a rest. I had pretty steady contractions for about an hour after that, and then they started to dwindle down. They were going to start the medication again, but there was another woman who came in who was in labor and she got priority over me, so they monitored me for a couple of hours and then sent me home about 10:30 pm. It was pretty disappointing for me, but I knew that there was a good chance it wouldn't work on the first try. They have surgeries scheduled all day today, so unless I go into labor on my own, they won't induce again until tomorrow (Thurs.) morning. Today is Jason's birthday and we have about 6 inches of new snow from yesterday. That makes a foot and a half of fresh snow since Saturday! I will do my best to keep you updated! Sorry there are no baby pictures yet. :(

Today's the Day!

Me playing Guesstures on Christmas Eve
Jason playing Guesstures
The Anderson Family
Mom S., Dad L., Mom L. (making a baby blanket) and Carolyn A.

Jason's Birthday a little early!
First of all, Happy Holidays! I hope that everyone had a good Christmas yesterday! We have a lot of family in town and we have had a lot of fun eating and playing games. Last night I went in to the hospital for a couple of hours so that they could prep me for today. They told me that I was 60% effaced and dialated to 1 cm. This is all very good news! They put some cream in that will help it even more. I've been having contractions all night, so hopefully the plutosin (sp?) this morning will really kick me into labor. I go into the hospital in about an hour, so we may have a baby by the end of the day. :) Yippee!! Here are just a couple of pictures of our day yesterday. More to come!

I was at the doctor yesterday, and I have a little bit better idea of when the baby is coming. The baby is all in position, but there are no signs of it coming yet. So, I will be induced on Tuesday. There was a chance that they would do it today or tomorrow, but now they will wait until Tuesday. I will go in Monday night and they will get things started and then Tuesday morning they will actually give me the IV to start contractions. I would like it to come on its own right now!!! :) My family comes in Christmas Day and Jason's family is coming tomorrow, so we will have everyone here for the baby (hopefully). :) Stay tuned for more baby news coming soon!

Getting Ready

Our "nursery" is actually a closet. There is room for some of the things we already have stored in there, as well as a cradle...

Tight fit, but that is where the rocking chair will go...

And the changing table.... Please don't tell my child that he/she spent the first several months of its life in a closet!!

Sorry about the random Winter Wonderland picture! :)

Here I am getting ready to go on a walk. (Trying to get the baby ready to come out!) The shirt fit me a little better when I got it, but it works now to keep me warm! An update on the baby status: I have an appointment on Wednesday when they will schedule an induction. They may do it as soon as this Thurs. or Fri., or else they will wait until next week Tues. (12/26). We will see!! I have 2 more days of school, and after that, the sooner the better! It may come on its own anytime! :)
